ABOUT US

Orme Square is a boutique endorsement agency representing actors, musicians, fine artists, and industry influencers.

With over a decade of practical experience, augmented by highly specialized legal expertise, we deftly navigate the dynamic, anomalous and challenging worlds of fashion, beauty and celebrity branding.

As part of our clients’ professional team, our role is to strategically develop opportunities, negotiate contracts, and execute top-tier global endorsements, collaborations and licensing deals.

Orme Square is selective, allowing us to offer a personal, hands-on approach, providing thoughtful guidance and analysis to our clients. We invest considerable resources into research, lead generation, and both the creation and pursuit of the best opportunities.

Years of working as buyers ourselves, coupled with our relationships with leading brands, creative directors and advertising agencies affords Orme Square the unique position of truly understanding the minutiae of a wide variety of deal structures including licensing, budget allocation, social media innovation, and cooperative branding.

We recognize that the most tangible and immediate result of our process is the creation of long-term passive income streams for our clients. At the same time, we’ve found that a beneficial by-product of our work is that it elevates our clients’ other professional prospects, better positioning them to achieve their personal and professional goals. Our mission is to provide endorsement and collaboration opportunities that stay true to our clients’ overall personal and professional aesthetic.

ILANA DARSKY Founder & CEO

Ilana Darsky has almost fifteen years experience as an expert negotiator, brand consultant and attorney in the entertainment and fashion industries. Ilana has worked alongside A-list talent and global brands in highly specialized areas including endorsements, licensing, advertising, public relations, branded-content, and television production.

Ilana began her career in the William Morris Agency’s Television Talent department before a customary stint in the mailroom at Endeavor, where she later became an Agent Trainee and enjoyed working closely with talent such as Jennifer Garner, Ray Liotta, Adam Sandler, Dax
Shepard, and Ashton Kutcher. In late 2003, Darsky left Endeavor to join “Katalyst”, Kutcher’s then-unproven production company as Creative Executive. From her office on the set of “That 70’s Show”, Ilana worked closely with award-winning writers, directors, producers and major studios such as Fox, Sony and Disney, developing and producing television and film properties such as
MTV’s “Punk’d,” “A Lot Like Love” and “Guess Who”.

In 2005, while earning her degree from New York Law School, Ilana began working at Platinum Rye Entertainment (Omnicom), the world’s largest buyer of talent and music. There, Ilana negotiated highly complex celebrity endorsement, licensing, PR, and branded-content deals on behalf of Fortune 500 companies and brands including Pepsi, Diesel, Procter & Gamble (Gillette, Pantene, Gucci, D&G, Head & Shoulders, Hugo Boss, Lacoste and Olay), Samsung, Schering-Plough, and Ubisoft Entertainment. In addition to managing her own deals, as in-house counsel Ilana oversaw the company’s global contract negotiations and played a pivotal role in its expansion into the U.K. and European markets.

In 2010, Ilana joined Vogue Contributor Emily Weiss to launch Weiss’ brainchild, the luxury editorial website INTO THE GLOSS. As Business Manager, Ilana was instrumental in the start-up’s rapid growth and early profitability through her ability to identify and secure strategic revenue streams including sponsorships, endorsements, advertising, publishing, and creation of branded content. In the first year alone, Ilana worked successfully with advertisers and partners including Coach, Dolce & Gabbana, Barneys NY, Estee Lauder (Bumble & Bumble, Coach fragrance and MAC), Lancôme, LVMH, Saks Fifth Avenue, and ShopBop.

After eighteen months with Weiss and ITG, Ilana moved on to become Co-Director of Next Models’ Celebrity Talent division. Focusing exclusively on fashion and beauty, Ilana was responsible for executing branding, marketing and endorsement strategies for clients including Lana Del Rey, Rita Ora, Alexa Chung, The Selby, Stuart Semple, Karlie Kloss, and Harley Viera-Newton, as well as award-winning Chefs Michael Symon and Geoffrey Zakarian. Ilana leveraged her negotiating skills and her extensive rolodex working on global licensing, advertising and PR campaigns with brands like Target, H&M, Gucci, Procter & Gamble, Chopard, Dior, Moncler, Norwegian Cruise Line, 7 For All Mankind, Juicy Couture, and Vero Moda.

In 2014, officially Ilana launched Orme Square, where she continues to represent artists, celebrities, and influencers, lending her unique expertise to a variety of fashion and entertainment projects.

Ilana Darsky has a BSBA in Marketing from Washington University in St. Louis, a JD from New York Law School and is a member of the New York State Bar.
